In an epic campaign, set at the time of the migration of nations (200-450 AD), the player takes control of 3 barbarian nations, until these finally come up against the seemingly invincible Roman army in the ultimate battle for Rome.

Against Rome uses a specially developed 2D/3D engine.
While the scenery is displayed polygonally in 3D, the units, buildings and landscape fillings are made up of pre-rendered 2D objects.

No, there are no plans to convert the game for other platforms.

There will be a demo in German and in English before the release of the game.

The game will at first be released in German and English. However, French, Spanish and Italian language versions are already scheduled. Later on, there may be further language versions.
Will there be a multiplayer mode?
Yes. Against Rome will be playable with up to 8 players over LAN and via IP direct connection and GameSpy on the internet.
